67- 68 burb

have just bought a 67/68 suburban 3/4 ton custom with heavy frt axle equipt,vin code k9e20916 .it also has gmc 920 badges on frt fenders ,20 stands for 3/4 ton ? 920 stands for ?has posi rear end and manual frt locker.any info on this model would really help,thx jollyrodger

that code is not the vin it is the model code

16 is burb

06 is panel delivery

k is 4x4

2 is 3/4 ton digit

20 is 3/4 ton model yes

the 9 is a gmc thing, i forgot what it means

very few k20 burbs were sold and i mean VERY few
